Core Group Resources (CGR) is a manpower and consulting firm founded in 2012 and headquartered in Katy, Texas, specializing in matching high-caliber talent to roles across heavy industries including maritime, offshore oil and gas, construction, renewable energy, aerospace, and logistics. The challenge

Candidate matching required recruiters to cross-reference spreadsheets, email chains, and Bullhorn records by hand — a slow, error-prone process that introduced inconsistency and capped the volume any team could handle.

  • WorkCore replaced the fragmented combination of email, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools with a single platform managing the entire job lifecycle — from client job request through candidate selection, approval, and status tracking.   • Compliance requirements — certifications, training timelines, documentation — were built directly into the platform's workflow, with automated notifications and status tracking replacing the manual oversight that had previously consumed significant logistics team capacity.
